Harvest Season Fire Cider

October 14 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$40.00
fire cider on a table

Gather at The Stinging Nettle to learn how to make Fire Cider! Fire Cider is a traditional remedy made by extracting warming and aromatic herbs into vinegar and honey, also referred to as an oxymel. These preparations warm the body, support the immune system, and rev up our vitality to fend off infection during cold and flu season, or any time of year! In this class, Samantha will demonstrate how to make two different preparations of fire cider and share wisdom about the different qualities the herbs and ingredients offer as medicine. You will go home with a 2 oz bottle of fire cider to enjoy after the class, as well as the skills to create your own home-made fire cider remedies using ingredients already in your kitchen or easily found at the grocery store and apothecary.
