Wild Edible Summer Plant Walk

Come learn about the wild edible plants of Colorado with herbalist Kat Mackinnon.

This class focuses the wild foods abundant in the early-mid summer, with an especially focus on greens and shoots. We’ll cover botanical identification, poisonous look alikes, and where to look for wild foods on the landscape. Along with ecology and ethical wildcrafting practices, we’ll discuss recipes, preserving your harvest, and when to pick what. 

This class is rain or shine, so come with rain gear and layers!
