Herbal Skincare Workshop

Join Kat Mackinnon for an evening of crafting organic, herbal infused skincare products.

This hands-on workshop will guide you through the art and science of crafting your own natural remedies, using a variety of techniques and botanicals. You will learn how to create a variety of herbal preparations, including:

• Poultices and Soaks: Learn to create your own blends for addressing wounds, rashes, bruises, and acne.
• Oil Infusions: Infuse herbs into carrier oils, perfect for nourishing the skin, promoting healing, and serving as a base for other herbal preparations. 
• Salves and Balms: Turn your infused oils into soothing salves and balms, ideal for topical relief of muscle aches, skin irritations, and more. 
• Facial Toners and Washes: Learn to work with hydrosols, essential oils, and herbal infusions to create blends that help to strengthen and clean the skin.
• Lotions and Creams: Blend herbal oils and natural ingredients into luxurious lotions and creams that moisturize and protect the skin. 

In addition to hands-on practice, you’ll learn 6 of Kat’s top herbs for topical remedies, including their healing properties, safety guidelines, and the best practices for sourcing and storing your ingredients. 

Each participant will go home with an herbal infused facial toner and lotion or cream.
