Nourishing Broths February 4th, 2025

Come cozy up in The Stinging Nettle classroom and learn how to make nourishing and medicinal broths! Making medicinal broths incorporates nourishing ingredients and kitchen herbalism to prepare immune-supportive and easy-to-digest remedies for the whole family! Samantha will demonstrate how to make bone and mushroom broth in this class. She’ll share wisdom about the different qualities the herbs and ingredients offer as medicine, and why herbal broths are a kitchen staple for their nutrient-dense, warming, and health-supportive qualities. You will go home with recipes and skills to create your own medicinal broths using bones (save your bones in the freezer for making broths!) and ingredients already in your kitchen or easily found at the grocery store and apothecary.
