Licensed Psychologist

Honest conversations. Compassionate presence. A trusted companion along the way.

About Mike

Mike Remshard, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in Colorado with more than 25 years of experience working with individuals and couples. Originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he brings a steady, compassionate presence to his work, helping clients navigate life’s challenges with honesty, warmth, and genuine collaboration.

Mike completed advanced training through the Emotionally Focused Therapy of New Jersey and the Philadelphia Center for Emotionally Focused Therapy. He earned his doctorate from Temple University and completed postdoctoral training at Wichita State University.

t the heart of Mike’s approach is the belief that therapy is not something done to a person, but something created with them. As Mike often says, “I don’t lead from a pedestal. I am a companion along the way.” Rather than positioning himself as someone with all the answers, he walks alongside clients through grief, trauma, relationship challenges, and life’s many transitions. Through thoughtful candor, humor, and deep respect for each person’s story, Mike helps clients move toward greater clarity, stronger connections, and lasting personal growth.

Mikes Approach

Mike believes meaningful therapy is built on trust, honesty, and genuine collaboration.
